Mike’s story

Mike was raised in a Christian home, surrounded by faith and values that shaped his early years. But he made choices that gradually pulled him away from the Lord. Life became increasingly difficult, and he found himself battling health challenges that led to a dependence on prescription pain medication. What began as a medical necessity slowly turned into a cycle of addiction. Over time, the weight of these struggles left him feeling hopeless, and eventually, homeless.

Mike remembers the many people who reached out and served meals. One gentleman in particular, would open his trunk and hand out blankets, hygiene products, and other necessities. A glimmer of hope began to shine. Mike made a promise to God, that if someday he could get out of this situation, he would do this too.

And he did just that… After years of redemption and walking with the Lord, he now reaches out and helps people struggling with these same situations.
